How it works.
Controls, your first ten minutes, playing with friends, and the questions everyone asks.
Your first ten minutes
- Pick a lookChoose a name and one of the preset characters on the main menu. You can buy more clothes later.
- Host or joinPress Host to open your island, or type a friend's IP and press Join.
- Earn some cashWalk up to an odd job (the glowing pads around town) and hold E, or play the Yard Work timing game.
- Text MarleyPress Tab to open your phone, tap Dealer, pick a strain. Follow the beacon to the meet spot and press E on Marley.
- Roll onePress R to put your rolling tray down anywhere (or use the one on the dining table at home) and press E on it.
- Light upPress H to spark it and take puffs. Look at a friend and press G to pass it. Grab a snack when the munchies hit.

Playing together
One person hosts, everyone else joins. The host's PC keeps everybody's money, stash and gear, so stick with the same host to keep your progress.
Same house or LAN
Press Host. Friends on the same network press Join and type the host PC's local IP (for example 192.168.1.20). The pause menu shows your address.
Over the internet
Forward UDP port 7777 on the host's router to the host PC, then friends join with your public IP. Allow the game through Windows Firewall when it asks.
No port forwarding?
Use a tunnel like playit.gg: create a UDP tunnel to your PC's port 7777 and give friends the tunnel address instead.
The game uses UDP port 7777. Only forward it while you are hosting, and only to the PC that hosts.
Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit
- A graphics card with DirectX 11 or 12
- About 200 MB of free disk space once unzipped
- A microphone if you want to use proximity voice chat
Low on frames? Lower the Graphics setting in the pause menu (Esc). Ready? Grab the download.
FAQ
Is it multiplayer?
Yes. One friend hosts from the main menu and everyone else joins with the host's IP address. It is built for 2–4 people on one small island, with proximity voice chat.
What does "Early Access" mean here?
The whole loop works and the island is finished, but it is still being polished. Expect rough edges, the odd bug, and updates you can follow in the changelog.
Where is my money and stash saved?
On whoever hosts. The host's machine is the source of truth for everyone's wallet, stash, gear and the shared house decor, so play with the same host to keep your progress.
Can I play solo?
Sure. Press Host and you are playing on your own island. It is a very relaxing place to be antisocial.
Does it run on Mac or Linux?
Not yet. The Early Access build is Windows 10/11, 64-bit only.
Is this real?
It is a video game for adults (18+). Nothing is sold, nothing is real, and no seagulls were harmed. Please follow the laws where you live.
